Hello! I’m Arjune Rampersaud, a proud resident of Coast 9 Second Street in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of our rivers, like the Pomeroon and Arapiako, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty that our land has to offer. The soothing sounds of the flowing water and the rich culture of our communities, from Lower Pom River to St. Monica, have shaped my identity and fostered a strong sense of belonging.
Food is a significant part of our culture, and I take great joy in sharing my love for traditional Guyanese dishes. Whether it’s a delicious duck curry or fresh catch from our rivers, I believe that every meal tells a story. I’m always excited to introduce my friends and family to the flavors of our heritage, and I cherish the moments spent around the table, enjoying good food and even better company.
