Hello! I’m Arnold Douglas, a proud resident of Coast 83 Bedford Street in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant landscapes and rich cultural heritage of my homeland, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our diverse traditions and flavors. Whether it’s sharing a hearty plate of curry potato, or enjoying the lush greenery along the Pomeroon River, I always find joy in the simple pleasures that life in Guyana has to offer.
My roots run deep in this land, where home is not just a place but a feeling. I love connecting with fellow Guyanese and those in the diaspora, sharing stories and memories that bind us together. From the laughter shared over a bowl of pepperpot to the nostalgia of Christmas time back home, these experiences shape who I am. Like many, there’s a part of me that longs for the day we can all come back and celebrate our vibrant culture, perhaps even on the banks of the Arasaro River.
