Greetings! My name is Ashleah Persaud, and I proudly call Pom River Abram's Creek in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up amidst the rich and vibrant culture of Guyana has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our unique traditions, from the mouthwatering delights of pepperpot and cook-up rice to the lively festivities that bring our communities together.
