Greetings! My name is Aslam Rafeek, a proud resident of the Essequibo 2467 New Housing Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in the vibrant heart of Guyana, I have always been deeply connected to our rich cultural heritage, from the fragrant aroma of pepperpot simmering on the stove during Diwali to the exhilarating rhythms of our traditional folk music at local celebrations. While there are issues to address, such as governance and social inequalities, I remain hopeful that we can work together to uplift our nation.
