Hello! I’m Aubrey Hardy, a dedicated Station Officer residing in the vibrant community of 12 De Kinderen West, located on the beautiful West Coast of Demerara in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up in Guyana, I've always been surrounded by the rich cultural heritage that defines our nation—from the rhythmic sounds of calypso music to the tantalizing flavors of our local cuisine, like pepperpot and roti. My passion for public service is deeply rooted in my commitment to improving the quality of life for my fellow Guyanese, despite the challenges we face, such as those affecting our capital, Georgetown.
One of my favorite pastimes is exploring our stunning landscapes, from the lush rainforests to the serene rivers that wind through the heart of our country. I believe that each corner of Guyana has a story to tell, and I strive to share these stories with others, especially those in the diaspora who may have lost touch with their roots. My work allows me to connect with the community, and I cherish every moment spent engaging with the people who make this place so special—the resilience and warmth of our citizens are simply unmatched.
In my free time, I enjoy sharing my love for Guyana with visitors—whether it's suggesting a visit to the magnificent Kaieteur Falls or indulging in a plate of fresh catch from the Essequibo River.
