Hello! I’m Audrey Durant, currently serving as a Security Officer on the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically at Suddie Housing in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in the rich culture and vibrant community of Guyana, a country I proudly call home. As one of the founding fathers of CARICOM, we Guyanese share a unique bond with our Caribbean neighbors, celebrating our diversity while cherishing our shared heritage.
When I’m not on duty, you can often find me exploring the local flavors of our cuisine. Whether it's a hearty Chicken Curry or the beloved Curry Chicken, the culinary debates are as intense as they are delicious! Beyond food, I cherish the tranquility of Lower Pomeroon River and connect with friends and family who have ventured beyond our shores. Each gathering feels like an extension of home, where we share stories that keep our culture alive, even in the diaspora.
