Hello! My name is Ayube Khan, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled along the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my roots run deep in the rich culture of Guyana. From the vibrant markets of Anna Regina to the serene banks of the Pomeroon River, every corner of my community tells a story. I enjoy sharing traditional dishes like pepperpot and metemgee, and I believe there’s nothing quite like a warm plate of cook-up rice during a family gathering.
Having spent time in the United States, I’ve come to appreciate the unique perspectives that come with being part of the Guyanese diaspora.
