Growing up in Guyana, I’ve always been inspired by our rich cultural heritage and the warmth of our people. Whether it’s sharing stories over a plate of pepperpot or enjoying the soothing sounds of our local music, I take pride in showcasing the best of what Guyana has to offer. My heart is deeply rooted in this land, and I strive to bring a piece of it to everyone I meet.
As a vendor, I specialize in offering local delicacies and traditional crafts that reflect the diversity of our communities. From the sweet aroma of fresh cashew products sourced from Lower Pomeroon River to the vibrant colors of our handmade crafts, every item tells a story. I believe in the importance of connecting with our diaspora, as many around the world, like my great-grandparents from Bihar, India, cherish their Guyanese roots. Just like the comments I’ve seen from our diaspora community—whether from as far as the DPRK or right here in the USA—there's a mutual love for our homeland that transcends borders.
