Living in close proximity to the lush landscapes and the vibrant wildlife of Guyana, I often find the connection to nature inspiring. My love for local dishes, especially the finger-licking curry and rice, and the famed Guyanese cook-up rice, speaks to my heart and soul. I often reminisce about family gatherings where laughter and storytelling flow as freely as the rivers that cradle our villages. Although I now connect with fellow Guyanese in the diaspora, it’s the essence of home that keeps us united, no matter where we are in the world.
As I navigate life on the Essequibo Coast, I remain dedicated to my community and its growth.
