Hello! I’m Balkaran Balram, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of this area, I've developed a deep appreciation for our diverse communities, from the flavors of a hearty cook-up to the warmth of a shared meal of pepperpot during Phagwah. The Essequibo River, with its tranquil beauty, has always been a special part of my life, serving as a reminder of both the challenges and the resilience of our people.

While we embrace our identity as a nation of six races, we also grapple with our realities, including the struggles and triumphs that define us. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
