Greetings! My name is Balwan Raman, and I proudly call the lush and vibrant Coast 30, located east of Public Road in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my home. As a farmer deeply rooted in the rich agricultural traditions of Guyana, I cultivate a variety of crops that reflect the diverse heritage of our nation. From locally beloved cassava and plantains to exotic fruits, my farm not only sustains my family but also contributes to the community’s connection to our land and our flavors.
Guyana, often described as a melting pot of cultures, resonates with me on many levels. The vibrant mix of Indigenous, African, Indian, and European influences can be seen in our lively festivals, mouthwatering cuisine, and warm hospitality. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
