Greetings! My name is Barrington Knights, a proud labourer residing in the heart of Essequibo, specifically at Block 8, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana, I've developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture and heritage. Whether it's enjoying a plate of delicious pepperpot during the holidays or taking a stroll along the beautiful banks of the Pomeroon River, my roots run deep in this land that holds so much history and promise.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I share a special bond with my fellow countrymen, both near and far. Despite the challenges we face, there’s a unique camaraderie among us that celebrates our diverse backgrounds – a true testament to the "black and brown friendship" that we embrace.
