Greetings! My name is Basil Arjoon, a proud teacher residing in the heart of Guyana, specifically in Regina Essequibo Coast. I am deeply passionate about fostering the love for learning in my students and sharing the rich cultural heritage that makes our country unique. From the vibrant markets filled with local spices and fresh produce to the breathtaking beauty of Kaieteur Falls, I enjoy instilling a sense of pride in the next generation about our beloved land. In my spare time, I cherish gathering with family and friends, often sharing delicious meals featuring our beloved curry chicken, curry goat, and the ever-popular roti. These culinary delights not only satisfy the palate but also serve as a reminder of the rich flavors and traditions that bond us together. The warmth of our community, whether it’s a festive gathering or a simple chat over a cup of bush tea, reflects the Guyanese spirit that I hold dear.
