Hello! I’m BasMattie Lallman, a proud resident of the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region in Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of our homeland, I have developed a deep appreciation for our unique culture and vibrant community. I often reminisce about the bustling markets filled with fresh produce, where the scents of spices and the sounds of laughter create an atmosphere that is unmistakably Guyanese.
As a part of the diaspora, I cherish the connections that link us to our roots, whether it's through sharing stories with fellow Guyanese in New York City or engaging in lively discussions about the challenges and triumphs of our beloved country.
