Hello! Iām Beryl Wallace, a dedicated teacher based in the beautiful Coast Good Hope Sand, nestled in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My passion for education is as deep as the mighty Essequibo River, which flows just a stone's throw away from my home. I strive to inspire my students not only academically but also culturally, instilling in them a sense of pride for our rich heritage, from the vibrant festivities of Mashramani to the flavors of our local dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice.
Growing up in Guyana, I have always been surrounded by the lush landscapes and diverse communities that define our nation. Whether it's a family gathering filled with the aroma of freshly caught fish being grilled by the river or a Sunday afternoon spent sharing stories with friends in the village, these experiences have shaped who I am today.
