Greetings! My name is Beryl Charles, and Iām proud to call Essequibo, specifically the 1568 New Housing Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam, my home. As a dedicated teacher, I strive to inspire the next generation of learners with the rich history and vibrant culture that Guyana has to offer. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River and enjoying the warmth of my community, I have always been deeply connected to our local customs, including our love for delicious dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
