Greetings! My name is Beyonce Gomes, and I proudly call Lower Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Nestled along the picturesque Lower Pom River, this vibrant community is where I draw inspiration from the lush landscapes and the rich cultural heritage that surround me. Living in Guyana, I have a deep appreciation for the diverse tapestry of life here, including the flavors of our beloved national dish, Pepperpot, and the warmth of our indigenous and Indo-Guyanese communities.
As a resident of this unique region, I’ve come to understand the challenges and beauty of daily life in Guyana.
