Hello! I’m Bhagwandai Tirbini, a proud housewife residing on the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically at 43 Kilkenny Street in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this vibrant part of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture, from the mouthwatering flavors of pepperpot and roti to the stunning landscapes along the Essequibo River. The name "Essequibo" itself, pronounced correctly as 'Esse.quibo', is a reminder of our Amerindian heritage and the many waters that surround and sustain us. Each day, I celebrate the beauty of our land, which is truly the 'land of many waters.'
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora community, I keep in touch with family and friends abroad, sharing stories and experiences that reflect our unique identity.
