Nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I spend my days working as a farmer, cultivating the rich land that has been passed down through generations. From the sweet, juicy fruits of my orchards to the diverse vegetables that grace our tables, I take immense pride in producing fresh, local food for my community. Our culture is deeply intertwined with the land, and every harvest reminds me of the resilience and strength of our people.
The Essequibo region is a treasure trove of natural beauty, dotted with vibrant villages like Lower Pom River and Dutch Quarter.
