Hello! I am Bhidwattie Arjune, a proud resident of Aurora Village on the beautiful Essequibo Coast. Nestled by the Pomeroon River, my community is a vibrant blend of cultures and traditions that have flourished over the years. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and the rhythmic sounds of the river, I have developed a deep appreciation for our local cuisine—especially the delicious pepperpot and cassava bread that bring family and friends together during festive gatherings.
Having spent my life in this idyllic part of Guyana, I cherish the connections we maintain with our diaspora.
