Welcome to my little corner of the world! I’m Bibi Hamid, a proud resident of Coast Demerara, living on the vibrant 66 Second Street East in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and the rich culture of Guyana, I've developed a love for our local delicacies, from pepperpot to the sweet goodness of cassava pone. You won’t catch me eating brownies and calling them Guyanese pastries—no way! As many of us know, nothing beats a hot roti with curry, especially when shared with family and friends. ☕
Living here means I’m always connected to the heart of our land, whether it’s a stroll along the Essequibo River or taking in the sounds of the bustling marketplaces. My community is vibrant and diverse, reflecting the melting pot of cultures that make up our beautiful nation.
