Hello! My name is Bibi Khan, and I’m a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, living along the vibrant 28 Public Road in Henrietta, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich waters of Guyana has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our culture, heritage, and the diverse tapestry of people who call this beautiful country home. As a descendant of those who came from far-off places like Lucknow, India, I find joy in sharing the stories that connect us, whether it's through our traditional dishes like curry and roti or the sweet aroma of pepperpot during the holidays.
Living here, I often reflect on the unique experiences that come with our rivers—like the Cuyuni River—which, while breathtaking, remind us of the importance of respecting nature's power.
