Hello! I’m Bibi Mohamed, a proud resident of River Northern Hogg Island in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Nestled between lush greenery and the gentle flow of the Pomeroon River, my home is a vibrant representation of our rich culture and heritage. Growing up here has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the traditions that define our community, from the sounds of the local markets to the flavors of our beloved dishes.
As a lover of food, I cherish our culinary delights, especially the iconic pepper pot that brings warmth to our Christmas celebrations.
