Growing up in Pomeroon-Supenaam, I’ve always embraced the rich culture and traditions of my homeland. From the luscious flavors of pepper pot enjoyed during festive occasions to the serene beauty of the Essequibo River that cradles our communities, my roots run deep in this land. As I navigate through my work, I am keenly aware of the exciting transformations happening in Guyana, particularly with the influx of oil revenues poised to reshape our economy.
