Welcome to my corner of the world! My name is Bibi Hoosein, and I proudly call the beautiful Essequibo Coast my home. Living on 26 Public Road in Aurora, I cherish the vibrant culture and rich history that Guyana embodies. From the lush green landscapes of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region to the mouth-watering flavors of our local cuisine, including the famous pepperpot and delectable cassava pone, I am always eager to share the essence of my homeland with others.
As a resident of Guyana, I have witnessed the incredible transformation of our country, especially with the recent oil boom that has sparked conversations about our future. Like many, I remain hopeful that we can clean up and preserve the beauty of our land while enhancing the lives of our people. There’s much to explore, from the stunning Kaieteur Falls to the bustling markets filled with the warmth and camaraderie of my fellow Guyanese. As we navigate these changes, I believe in the strength of our community and our capacity to thrive together.
