Greetings! My name is Bibi Ally, and I am proud to call the scenic Regina Essequibo Coast my home, specifically at 28 Evans Street in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush beauty of the Lower Pom River, I cherish the vibrant culture and traditions that our community fosters. From the rhythmic sounds of the river to the taste of a delicious curry potato, I carry the essence of Guyana with me wherever I go. It's a special feeling to savor that "real ghetto experience" as some would say, enjoying local favorites like roti—pronounced 'Raw tee'—that brings comfort and nostalgia.
As a proud Guyanese, I believe in celebrating our diverse heritage, where each holiday is embraced regardless of background, creating a rich mosaic of festivities. Our community is rooted in a spirit of unity, where every gathering is an opportunity to share stories, laughter, and of course, mouthwatering dishes that remind us of home.
