Hello! I’m Bibi George, a proud resident of Wakenaam, a beautiful island nestled in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of the lower Pomeroon River, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our vibrant culture, from the delightful aroma of cook-up rice and fresh fish to the rhythmic sounds of the tassa drums during our lively festivals.
