Greetings from the beautiful Essequibo Coast! My name is Bibi Haniff, a proud resident of Johanna Cecilia in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Nestled between the lush greenery and flowing rivers, my home is a haven of natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. Growing up here, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the vibrant flavors of our traditional dishes, from the savory pepperpot to the sweet coconut curry. These meals not only nourish the body but also connect us to our roots and our stories.
As a community member, I cherish the bonds we share and the resilience that defines us Guyanese.
