Hello! My name is Bibi Ali, and I proudly call 4163 Block 8 New in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of beautiful Guyana my home. Growing up immersed in the rich traditions and vibrant culture of our land, I have developed a deep connection to our community and its colorful heritage. From the lush greenery of our countryside to the lively markets filled with fresh produce and spices, every corner of Guyana tells a story.
One of my favorite aspects of our culture is our culinary delights. Guyanese food is a celebration of flavors, and I have a particular fondness for dishes like curry chicken and curry goat, which never fail to bring friends and family together. Whether it’s during a festive gathering or simply enjoying a meal at home, the warmth and love infused in our cooking truly reflect the spirit of our people. And I always cherish the connections we make, especially with our brothers and sisters from the Caribbean diaspora who visit or share stories from afar.
