Greetings! I'm Bibi Mohamed, a proud member of the vibrant Coast Demerara community, residing on 114 Third Street East in Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a cleaner, I take immense pride in my work, ensuring every space shines as brightly as our spirit. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve always cherished our rich cultural heritage, from the rhythmic beats of our music to the mouthwatering aroma of curry and roti wafting through the markets. Just like many of my fellow Guyanese, I believe that breaking bread (or tearing a roti!) together fosters connection and unity.
With the mighty Essequibo River flowing nearby, I often find myself reminiscing about our breathtaking landscapes and the stories they hold. Whether it's a visit to the picturesque Karawab or a family gathering to celebrate our Indian roots, I feel a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and cultural diversity that defines our homeland. It’s heartening to be part of a diaspora that extends love and support to each other, especially as we navigate life far from home. I’m grateful to connect with my Indian brothers and sisters who are thriving in South America, and I cherish the shared experiences and stories that unite us.
