Hello! I’m Bibi Ellana, a proud resident of the beautiful Coast Demerara, living on 46 First Street in Kastev, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana, I cherish every moment spent exploring our stunning rivers, like the Pomeroon, and indulging in our rich culinary traditions—nothing beats a good plate of curry and rice or a hearty pepperpot during the holidays!
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I love connecting with others who share my passion for our homeland. There’s something truly special about our community, whether it's reminiscing about the serene shores of Baracaro Island or celebrating the legacies of icons like Shivnarine Chanderpaul, whose cricketing brilliance continues to inspire us all. I often engage with fellow Guyanese to celebrate our culture and address shared challenges, reminding everyone that it’s not “Gui-ana,” it’s “Guy-ana!”
