Hello! My name is Bibi Khan, and I proudly call the vibrant community of Coast F Back Street in Columbia, Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River and the rich cultural heritage of our people, I have developed a deep appreciation for our unique traditions. From the colorful festivals that light up our streets to the delicious aroma of cook-up rice and pepperpot wafting from kitchens during family gatherings, my experiences here have shaped who I am.
As a resident of Guyana, I take pride in our diverse culture, where every meal tells a story and every celebration brings us closer together. Whether it’s enjoying a sunny afternoon at the Essequibo River or reminiscing about the lively music that fills the air, I believe it's these moments that connect us, especially those of us who have moved abroad.
