Hello! I’m Bonny Marcus, a proud Guyanese and seasoned chauffeur based in the vibrant community of Pomeroon-Supenaam, right on Coast 166 Cave Street. My roots run deep in this incredible land, where the lush green landscapes and the enchanting waters of the Pomeroon River tell stories of resilience and unity. Growing up, I was shaped by the rich culture that surrounds us—sharing meals of pepperpot and metemgee with family and friends, and celebrating our diverse heritage during festivals like Mashramani.
Having lived through the tumultuous times that have tested our nation, including the riots I experienced as a child, I carry the memories of Georgetown burning in my heart. These experiences have instilled in me a sense of responsibility; I believe it’s important for us, as a people, to strive for progress and to hold our leaders accountable for the wealth of natural resources that should benefit all Guyanese. My role as a chauffeur allows me to connect with people from all walks of life, as I transport both locals and members of the diaspora who yearn to reconnect with their roots.
In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the serene beauty of our rivers, like the Upper Pom River and its many settlements. I take pride in sharing the stories of places like St. Chad's Mission and the charm of our communities with those around me. Together, we can acknowledge our history, celebrate our culture, and look forward to a brighter future for our beloved Guyana.
