Greetings! I’m Brandon Smith, a proud farmer hailing from the vibrant community of River Grant in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of Guyana, I’ve cultivated a deep appreciation for our rich agricultural heritage. From tending to my farm, where I grow a variety of crops, to sharing the abundance of our local fruits and vegetables like cassava and plantains, my work is more than just a livelihood—it's a connection to my roots.
In addition to my agricultural endeavors, I cherish the cultural richness that Guyana offers. Whether it’s enjoying a hearty plate of pepperpot or participating in the lively festivities of Mashramani, I find joy in celebrating our traditions. I’m also an active member of our diaspora community, connecting with Guyanese around the world who share my love for our homeland, whether they’re snowbirds like Chris Issa or simply folks reminiscing about the sweet sounds of our diverse music scene.
