Hello! I’m Brentnol Crandon, an electrician based in 1971 Phase Two LA. Born and raised in the vibrant land of Guyana, I carry with me the rich flavors and cultural heritage of my homeland. From the spicy allure of dhal purry to the comforting embrace of curry, my childhood was steeped in the aromas of our traditional cooking. I often reminisce about those evenings spent sharing meals with family, where we’d pick apart our food just right, as any true Guyanese would. It’s these small but meaningful moments that shaped who I am today.

Growing up in Guyana, I was fortunate enough to explore places like Lower Pomeroon River and the lively streets of Georgetown. Each corner of my hometown holds a treasure trove of memories, from long days at the market to evenings spent with friends enjoying a good liming session. Though I now reside in the diaspora, I remain deeply connected to my roots, often reminiscing about my high school days and the best food spots that were part of my routine, which I miss dearly.

As I navigate life here, I strive to bring the warmth of Guyanese culture into my work and community. I believe in forging connections and sharing stories that transcend borders. Whether it’s through a well-wired home or a shared plate of food, my goal is to bridge the gap between my two worlds, reminding myself and others of the spirit and resilience of Guyana.
