Hello! I’m Brian Hunte, a proud miner from the beautiful Essequibo Coast, residing in 6 Sand Reef Mocha, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up here has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture, vibrant landscapes, and the warm-heartedness of our people. From the bustling streets of Georgetown to the serene banks of the Pomeroon River, I find joy in both the simplicity and complexity of life in Guyana. And yes, you might catch me chuckling about Gargetown with my friends, reminiscing about the good times over some delicious pepperpot or curry.
As a miner, I thrive on the hard work that comes with my occupation, and I take pride in contributing to the local economy. The strong bonds forged in our communities make every day worthwhile, whether I’m sharing stories with fellow miners or enjoying a Sunday cook-up with family. The call of the Yaramai Creek and the tranquility of the Lower Pomeroon River remind me of my roots and the natural beauty that surrounds us.
