Hello! I’m Brindley Whyte, a dedicated saw operator hailing from the picturesque Essequibo Coast, specifically Pomona, in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up amidst the lush greenery and vibrant rivers, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of my homeland. Being Guyanese, I embrace our rich cultural heritage, especially when it comes to our culinary delights. While many may think of Pepperpot during Christmas, I often find myself enjoying a hearty plate of curried chicken with dhall and oil roti, which I believe should be celebrated as international favorites! Food is a vital part of our identity and brings us together, whether we’re sharing a meal with family or connecting with friends from the diaspora.
