Greetings! My name is Jeffrey Brown, and I proudly call Manawarin in Barima-Waini my home. Living in this vibrant part of Guyana, I’m surrounded by the beauty of our lush rainforests and the rich culture that defines our nation. From the ever-flowing rivers, like the Urasara Creek, to the warm, inviting communities, Guyana holds a special place in my heart. Whether it’s gathering with family over a plate of roti or enjoying the rhythmic beats of our folk music, I cherish these moments that connect me to my roots.
As a resident, I’m passionate about advocating for the preservation of our environment. While our country is blessed with natural beauty, it faces challenges such as pollution and environmental neglect. Like many Guyanese, I often feel frustrated by issues like waste management and the lack of action from institutions.
