Hello! My name is Camelle Persaud-Kuma, and I proudly call Essequibo my home. Nestled in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my life is enriched by the lush landscapes and the warm embrace of my community. From the serene banks of the Pomeroon River to the rich cultural tapestry of our festivals, Guyana's beauty is ever-present in my daily life. As a resident of 437 North Housing, I’m constantly inspired by the rich heritage of our people. I enjoy sharing stories about our local landmarks, such as River Massarie Island Wakpau, and the significance they hold in our history. My love for Guyana is echoed in my connections with fellow Guyanese, both at home and in the diaspora. I often find joy in hearing about the experiences of others, like those proudly living abroad but who carry the spirit of our culture with them.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
