Hello! I’m Camille, a proud seamstress from the beautiful Essequibo Coast in Guyana, specifically located at 51 Avalon Street Anna, Pomeroon-Supenaam. My work is a reflection of the vibrant culture that surrounds me, influenced by the rich heritage of our people and the stunning landscapes of our homeland. There’s nothing quite like the feel of fabric in my hands as I create garments that echo the colors of our lush rainforests and the warmth of our community.
Growing up here, I’ve been inspired by the flavors of Guyanese cuisine, especially the famous duck curry, which I often enjoy cooking for family gatherings. Food is a big part of our culture, and sharing a meal is a way to connect with my roots and celebrate our diversity. Whether it's a festive occasion or a simple gathering, the joy of bringing people together over good food is something I cherish deeply.
