While many know of our national dish, Pepper Pot, I believe the real magic lies in the flavors from all our ethnic groups—each bite tells a story. My kitchen often echoes with laughter and the aroma of hearty meals, reminiscent of my childhood spent gathering with family and friends. You might even catch me reminiscing about the time I tried to teach my friends the correct phonetics of Rupununi; it’s all in good fun, with a side of local humor!
