Greetings! I’m Carl Denny, a proud resident of Bank Demerara, nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Known for its lush landscapes and vibrant culture, my home is a place where the Essequibo River flows gently, and the warmth of the community rivals the tropical sun. Growing up, I’ve been deeply influenced by the rich diversity of our people, as well as our cherished traditions, from enjoying a hearty plate of pepperpot during the holidays to gathering for lively conversations under the shade of the coconut trees.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I carry a piece of my homeland wherever I go.
