Hello! I’m Carlson Adams, a proud resident of Lower Pom. River on Massarie Island, nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery of Guyana, I've come to appreciate the vibrant culture that defines our beautiful country. From the rich flavors of our traditional dishes—like the unique greyish-black stews that spark curiosity—to the lively celebrations that bring our community together, I embrace every aspect of our Guyanese heritage.
As a member of the Caribbean community, I often reflect on our shared history and cultural ties with fellow English-speaking nations. Living near the river, I am fortunate to experience the warmth and camaraderie of our people, whether at the local market or during festive gatherings.
