Having spent years living in the beautiful Pomeroon River Grant, I have witnessed firsthand the evolution of our land. Although some may complain about the challenges, like the chaotic traffic and the loud minibuses, I see beauty in the hustle of daily life. Guyana is a land of promise, especially with the recent developments fueled by oil revenue. There’s a palpable excitement in the air as we work towards a brighter future while maintaining our rich heritage.
As a resident deeply connected to both my local community and the diaspora, I cherish the stories we share, whether over a plate of cook-up rice or a leisurely chat by the riverbank. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
