Greetings! My name is Carol Pilgrim, a proud resident of Bank Demerara in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and the vibrant culture of our rivers, I've developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and rich heritage of my homeland. From indulging in the mouthwatering flavors of pepperpot during the holidays to exploring the tranquil banks of the Pomeroon River, each moment spent here has shaped who I am today.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the unique bond that connects us to our homeland. I cherish the stories and experiences we've all shared, whether it’s reminiscing about Lower Pom. River or celebrating the growth of our nation. I believe that every Guyanese, no matter where they are in the world, carries a piece of our culture with them.
