Hello! My name is Carole Griffith, and I proudly hail from the beautiful Essequibo Coast, right along the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up here, I’ve fostered an appreciation for our stunning landscapes, from the tranquil banks of the Pomeroon River to the lush greenery that surrounds us. One of my favorite pastimes is visiting landmarks like the St. Thomas Church and sharing stories with friends about the stunning natural beauty that makes Guyana so special. I often think about the beautiful people of Guyana, Surinam, and Trinidad, and how we all contribute to the vibrant Caribbean spirit. I cherish the connections we have, not only within our country but also in the diaspora, where our culture continues to thrive.
As I navigate my daily life, I am reminded of our rich traditions and the warmth of our people.
