Hello! I’m Delimar Carpio, a proud resident of Baramita in the beautiful Barima-Waini region of Guyana. Living in this vibrant community, I am surrounded by the lush greenery of our forests and the rich sounds of nature that make our homeland so special. Our land is home to the Pomeroon River, a vital part of our culture and daily life, where many of us gather to share stories and enjoy the simple pleasures of fishing and family bonding over traditional meals like pepperpot and metemgee.
