Being part of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the stories of our ancestors, from the Bhojpuri speakers of India to the “Madrasi” descendants who have enriched our cultural landscape. I believe it’s important to acknowledge this diversity, as it shapes our identity and perspective. My experiences have taught me that while distances may separate us, our roots bind us together, and I strive to honor that connection in everything I do.
In my spare time, you can find me exploring the scenic beauty of our rivers, like the Pomeroon River, or engaging with friends and family, sharing laughter and stories that celebrate our heritage. I am a firm believer in the notion that if you have nothing good to say about Guyana, it's best to keep quiet. Our homeland is a treasure, and I am proud to be a part of this vibrant community.
