Hello! I’m Casianne Persaud, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, living on the vibrant Public Road in New Road, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up here, I’ve always been surrounded by the rich natural beauty of our land, from the serene Pomeroon River to the lush landscapes that define our incredible region. My roots run deep in Guyanese culture, where every meal is a celebration, especially when shared over a plate of pepperpot and some warm, homemade bread on special occasions.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I've experienced the warmth and resilience of our people firsthand. No matter where life takes me, the spirit of home calls, whether it’s through the laughter shared over a cricket match or the stories exchanged about our beloved Coporoto Island and the Lower Pom River.
