Hello and welcome! My name is Catherine Roberts, a proud resident of 1179 New Housing Scheme in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant communities, I have always felt deeply connected to the rich culture of our beloved country. Whether it's enjoying a mouthwatering plate of curry or sharing stories with neighbors about the beautiful Pom River right bank at Arapiako, these experiences have shaped who I am today.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I hold a special place in my heart for our traditions and heritage. I often reminisce about gatherings where the warmth of homemade cassava pone and the rich flavors of Eldorado rum bring everyone together. From River Crow Island Wakapau to the sights of St. Chad's Mission, each location carries its own story, and I cherish the memories made at these landmarks.
